Who we are

VigoLabs is a software consultancy with a presence in Panama and the United States. We are responsible for the data this site collects, and the contact for anything related to it is info@vigolabs.io.

What we collect, and only when you type it

The free review form is the only place on this site that asks for anything. It collects four fields, and you write all four:

• Your name.
• The company you are writing from.
• A work email, so we can reply.
• What you tell us about your operation.

What else travels with the form

Along with what you write, the submission carries two things the site adds by itself: the language you were reading in, and the service page you opened the form from, if you opened it from one. Both help us prepare a better answer.

To stop anyone using the form to flood us with automated messages, the server keeps your IP address for ten minutes and counts how many submissions came from it. After that it is gone. It is not stored in any database, not linked to what you wrote, and not used for anything else.

What it is used for

To reply to you. Nothing else. What you write reaches the team by email, we read it and we answer, usually within one business day.

We do not add you to any list, we do not send newsletters, and we do not write again if your conversation with us ends there.

Who it is shared with

Nobody beyond what it takes to get the message to the team. In practice three providers are involved, and none of them receives your data to use on their own account:

• Vercel, where the site is hosted, which handles the request when you submit.
• Resend, which delivers the email to our inboxes.
• Microsoft, where our company email lives and where the message is stored.

No cookies, no advertising trackers

This site does not set a single cookie. You can check that in your browser.

We do measure how many people visit and which pages get read, using Vercel Analytics. It uses no cookies, assigns you no identifier, and cannot recognise you between visits or follow you to other sites: these are aggregate numbers, not people. That is why you will not see a consent banner here, because there is nothing to consent to.

There are no social media pixels, no advertising and no third-party scripts: everything this site loads is served from this same domain.

How long we keep it

Your message stays in our email for as long as the conversation makes commercial sense. If we never end up working together, it goes when you ask us to, and in any case we do not keep it indefinitely just in case.

The rate-limit record, your IP address, disappears after ten minutes, without having to do anything.

What you can ask us for

Writing to info@vigolabs.io from the same address you contacted us with, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if something is wrong, or ask us to delete it.

We confirm in writing once it is done. We are not going to ask you to justify why.

Minors

This is a commercial site aimed at companies. We do not ask minors for data and have no interest in collecting it.

If this changes

If we change how we handle data, we change this page and the date at the top too. There are no old versions hidden away: what you read here is what we do today.
